5Was simply frustrated with cheap cookie sheets, but not any more.May 18, 2006

I'm sure you've all been through this before. You decide to make chocolate chip cookies. You've got just about everything you need in the fridge, just have to run to the market and pick up the last odds and ends. You go to the market, come home, and realize that you've got baking powder instead of soda. Off to the market again. Now that you've got all your ingredients together, you start baking. Once the dough is incorporated, a sigh of relief comes over you, as you drop the dough on your cookie sheet and toss it in the oven. 12 more minutes to wait and you'll be in homemade cookie heaven. Or so you think... When the timer goes off, you open the door and see, much to your dismay, that the they've burned. Your golden brown chewy, chocolatey food of comfort has burned. The bottoms are blackened and the tops still raw. Then you look at the pan, and realize that the $3.99 blackened steel, twisted, warp chunk of metal you call a cookie sheet may be the culprit.

The reason I tell this story, is because that was the scenario the last time that I made cookies. It really put me off of baking for quite some time. That is until I saw one of these air cookie sheets in action at a friends house. Man, is this thing worth the money. Don't get me wrong this is NOT your mom's or grandma's air sheet. This is thick, anodized aluminum. That means no reacting with food, metal utensil safe, and just about as slippery as any non-stick without any of the hassle. Boy is this thing solid, too. It does NOT bend or warp like some of those other sheets. The aluminum is thick, its solidly made (right in KANSAS!) and you can NOT burn cookies. Just because we were already in cookie heaven, my friend and I decided to take that little bit of cookie dough left over and see if we could burn it. Let me just say, all we acheived was golden, brown and delicious.

After that episode, I snagged one of these up, and it's been cookie heaven ever since. All I have to do is remember the baking soda.

5Insulated Cookie Sheets are the way to goOct 16, 2009

I got two of these to replace two cheaper ones that warped. Love the fact that this is anodized instead of non-stick but I used parchment paper on them anyway. Easy to clean because of the anodized surface and never burn (the bottom of) my cookies and any goodies that I bake with these sheets.

5Lovely!Nov 20, 2010
By Helen MS
These are my first premium cookie sheets and I really enjoy them. I can't use teflon or related products because I have a bird, so it's great to have these as an alternative. Although the cookies don't exactly slide off, they release nicely and don't get overdone. I'm a happy baker!

5never burn a cookie againJan 21, 2011
By A. Soule "Minx_in_La"
Love these baking sheets- they have never let me down and the insulating layer lets food cook and brown evenly, but not burn. It's a thick sheet, and you may have to add a min or so to your cooking times for cookies, but once you've adjusted to the difference in a thin sheet, you won't go back. Worth the price!

5My new favorite cookie sheetJan 17, 2012
By LW
This is a great cookie sheet. I received it as a gift and it is my new favorite. I am more pleased with the results than with my Williams-Sonoma gold insulated cookie sheet. I use parchment paper and it does an excellent job of not burning the bottom of the cookies and bakes evenly.
