I purchased this Garlic Press and Slicer because of the slicer feature. I already have a good garlic press. However, it broke at the handle the first time I used it.

The press appears to be stable and works well, as well as the slicer. However the "sharp" blades are really just blunt. Anyway, it still works. The only gripe I have is the pusher of the slicer, which gets in the way quite often.

i bought this for twice the price here at my local ACE hardware store. it's a great idea - a slicer and garlic press in one! however, it is difficult to clean, even if the included attachment.
i like to put mine in the dishwasher, which got it pretty clean, but messed with the finish. it made it all warped.
it broke after a few months of using it. one of the presser things fell off and couldn't be re-attached. i'm going to purchase a different garlic press, but thanks amco for introducing me to the world of garlic presses!

We got this as a wedding gift and have used it for about a month when I noticed that the blades on the slicer became dull - reason for it was the paint started chipping. We've only used it for garlic and cleaned it with the handy plastic cleaner that came with it. Will be returning this to C&B.

I looked forward to this combo slicer/press, but it is difficult to use, and if you put more than one clove of garlic in, you have to manipulate the "press" part to actually go into the space it is designed for. Clean up was not easy.
