The Amco Nylon Serving Fork is actually the best cooking fork for non-stick cookware I've ever used (and I've tried several). I've had mine for several years now, and it hasn't melted, chipped, split, etc. It's still very much like new, and I use it all of the time. The reason I'm on Amazon right now is to find it so I can have a spare and can buy some for gifts.

Amco makes the best cooking tools for all cooks. Very sturdy and will not hurt
any cookware. These are comerical quality. These are heavy duty tools for real use
not for setting on counter to look pretty. If you cook you will love them. They make
tools for all your needs. The nylon they use is very stiff and holds up very well.
They make a large aray of tools, spoons, etc. Hard to find, but well worth the $.
Amazon has great prices.

Best egg fork for under $5.00. Handle gets hot, but it's better than it melting I guess. The nylon part gets melted from setting it down too close to the flame, so we tend to go through them, but that happens with every kind of fork so it doesn't reflect badly. Cheers

I almost didn't purchase this item because it was more than I wanted to pay for this type of item, but I couldn't find anything I liked better, so I bought it. It is an extremely good quality fork, and will work wonderfully in my Calphalon cookware.
I would recommend this to someone who wants a quality tool, but would like to see the price drop a few dollars.
