Ingenious design - and beautiful!Dec 25, 2007

I love these bowls by Architec. The rubber bottoms are invaluable when stirring vigorously or using a hand-mixer. No more 'bowl scooting' maneuvers across the countertop, resulting in scratches to the surface of the counter - or an even larger mess with a tipped bowl. The pour-friendly lip is great when transferring contents from the mixing bowl to another container, or a serving dish. The bowls are extremely durable, dishwasher safe and the colors are vibrant and styled just right for a retro kitchen.

HARD TO HOLDSep 19, 2010
By Internet Diva Because of the high ratings, I purchased these. I'm sorry I did.
These bowls are made of nice, solid plastic. The bottoms have super-grips on them and do not slide. But, although they are colorful and artistically nice to look at, they are not practical when it comes to using them. They are an odd shape and clumsy to hold while mixing because there is really not much lip to grab on to.
I've ordered another set with more of a handle grip and will be tossing these in my donation to charity box.

Very nice mixing bowlsJan 09, 2010
By Norman A. Franklin These are very nice mixing bowls. I replaced some glass bowls about the same volume, and they are much lighter, and the rubber footing makes them very stable-- you can actually stir something without holding the bowl. They are also very steep-sided, so they don't spill over the top, and the handle and pouring spout make them very usable. I would have given them 5 stars except for the price differential based on color-- the blue tones were $5 cheaper than the white ones, which I would have preferred, but I was too cheap to pay extra for white. Can't be used in microwave.

mix feelingsSep 30, 2010
By Emma I have had this bowels for about a month and i can't make up my mind . They look good, i like that they dont slide around when im actualy mixing in them, and they seem to dry off fast after washing. But i do wish they flared out alittle more and the ring off rubber at the bottom keeps coming off when im washing them, so i have to make sure i dont lose it.( the ring of rubber is what keeps it from sliding around)Over all not bad.
