What is uglier than the stopper for a kitchen sink? What sight is more revolting than a sink full of dirty dishes?
Right. Nothing. Unless, of course, there's a cute little dragonfly in the middle of the strainer under all those dirty dishes!
I had one of these Billy Joe strainers for years, and then one day, the dragonfly broke off. I trotted over to the grocery store down the street where I got the first one, and bummer! They no longer carried them.
So I went home, ordered one from Amazon, and three or four days later my new strainer (along with a couple of other indulgences) arrived!
I do have one complaint: I thought I ordered a blue dragonfly strainer, but I received a red dragonfly strainer. I decided to keep it, though, because the red is so darned cute and the dragonfly wings are kinda glittery!
I HATE cleaning the kitchen. This little strainer has made all the difference when I have to face dirty dishes. Seriously, get one and give your kitchen sink some personality!
And if you don't like dragonflies, check out their other strainers; there are several "charms" that adorn them (fleur de lis if you love New Orleans; a purple bunch of grapes (there's a sink mat to match!); a red apple; a martini glass...and more).
