 Teapot Has Spider CracksFeb 21, 2009

I ordered this teapot for my English wife for Christmas. In less than 2 months of use, the teapot and the lid have developed spider cracks all over the teapot. At the present rate of progression, I think the teapot will fall apart within two months. And Amazon will not replace their defective merchandise since more than 30 days have passed since delivery.
We are not happy customers.

I love my pot, but there are no markings on it to tell me that it's made in England. So I have to trust the seller's integrity from what I read on Amazon. But it's a very nice teapot, & I enjoy using it.

Reports of the teapot being required to be pre-heated prior to adding boiling water have been exaggerated in the other reviews. The British flag in the photo is only a sticker and is removed before use. The teapot holds in the heat well and is durable.

Not made in China is a good start to an excellent cup of tea. This pot has been great. If you want a good cup of tea with the pot not made in China, this may be the pot for you....It is not a pretty pot, it is not colorful, but it is a winner.
