Best recipe organizer there isJan 31, 2009
By Jane Buck If you've got bunches of recipes cut out from magazines and newspapers or scrawled on pieces of paper and stacked in a pile, you will love this excellent recipe organizer. We have two (we have lots of recipes!)and wouldn't cook without them. The binders are attractive and durable. Ours have lasted for more than a decade so far. The divider tabs are intelligently pre-printed to separate recipes into convenient sections(appetizers, salads, pasta, etc.) and are easy to read. We've even added our own (stir-fry, leftovers, BBQ). Each recipe page is removable for easy cooking, and the clear cover sheets cover the entire page, are easy to clean and keep the recipes easy to read.

You're better off making your own recipe binderNov 01, 2010
By QuiuboMona Given the price, I expected very high quality, but I am disappointed. The binder is really shabby. The rings are hard to open, making it a pain to move the sheets around and organize things. After just one time opening the rings, one of the rings no longer aligns properly, so the pages can slide out awkwardly. The plastic "magnetic" sheets are nice, but they are essentially the same as what comes in a standard photo album. The only thing that's really nice is the tabbed dividers with pockets, but that's not worth $20+ shipping.
My advice: make your own binder. Go to Staples and buy a binder that opens easily; some tabbed dividers with pockets, and photo album pages. This has the added advantage that you can organize your recipes in a way that makes sense to YOU, avoiding awkward groupings like "Breads and Desserts" (which comes with this one). Maybe that will look less fancy for a gift, but it will be MUCH more practical, and the cook will appreciate it!

BeautifulSep 01, 2008
By C Zaffino I purchased this as a gift for my friend's wedding shower where we had asked guests to bring their favorite recipes to share with the bride. It is perfect for storing any recipes you want to save - printed off the computer, cut from the newspaper, or written on a scrap of paper. My teenaged sons and daughters helped me select it; we all agreed it was even more beautiful in person than it was in the photo! It seems very sturdy and I'm sure my friend will use it for years. Refill pages are available and it can easily hold many of them. Last but not least, shipping took only 2 days!!!

Buyer Beware!Jan 11, 2011
By jsanborn Buyer Beware! I recently offered my Amazon Gift Wish List to relatives to purchase Christmas gifts this season and this Recipe Book Binder was one of the items. I was delighted to receive it and eagerly typed up all my recipes to insert in plastic inserts that came with it. As I was inserting recipe #2- the metal spine broke out. This product lasted exactly 3 days.
If that wasn't bad enough I was given the run around when trying to exchange the damaged goods.
After trying to resolve this directly with the sellers and getting no response - I contacted Amazon and this is what Amazon told me "I've checked your order and see it was placed with Healthy Home and Kitchen, a seller on our website. Because Healthy Home and Kitchen's inventory is constantly changing, we can't replace items sold by them that are fulfilled by Amazon.
Bottom line this product is poorly made and the return policies for this seller stink!

Recipes Finally Organized!Jul 18, 2008
By Linda Green
"Organization Lover"
Not only did I buy several of these for myself as I had years of collected recipes from friends and newspapers, but I bought a few as gifts. Now all my recipes are organized and I know where they are. The magnetic pages open easily so you can change recipe location when size matters. The cover is substantial and attractive on my cookbook shelf. My friends also welcomed the gift.
