The glass part slips around a bit inside the wooden part, and the markings on the wooden part are uneven, but a nice-looking piece for the price.

Nowhere in this item's description or online did it mention that this is supposed to be a 3 minute timer. The packaging does, though. I needed a 3 minute timer, but the sand actually runs out at 2 1/2 minutes.

I got it despite poor reviews regarding time it measures. When the timer arrived, I timed it right away. It turns out it was exactly 3m:02s. Both ways...
What else can I say? the glass part slides a little bit (up and down only, not on sides). The timer looks nice, smooth to touch. As described - made of wood.
Great solution for tooth brushing for kids, as I planned.
