The steamer does a wonderful job with cooking vegetable quickly. The only gripe I have is the loss of one of the handling rings within a month of using it (probably due to the risky practice of having my kids wash the dishes). It was easily replaced and I constantly use the steamer.

Nice steamer but you'll notice as you open it up - it bends where the "petals" join the base. It's soft, so it doesn't snap but I wonder if this will affect its longevity. Very stiff so not necessarily cheap but badly assembled. Okay for however long it will last. Considering its price, I'd think it would be better made.
