Surprisingly powerful little clipsJul 21, 2006

Now that I've ordered my THIRD set of these, I thought it only right that I officially say, I love these magnetic clips.
Though small (about 1" long, 3/4" wide), they are strong enough to easily hold full-page notes without slipping down the fridge. I even have one holding up some of my son's popsicle-stick artwork with no problem. Yet they aren't so strong that you have trouble prying them off of the fridge when you want to.
The colors are very cheerful. Finally, they are a great item to put on your wish list and order sometime when you need to get over the $25 threshold for free shipping.

I love these little clips. They are small in size and useful for hanging a shopping list, a note, and things of this sort. Their magnets are strong and colors quite pleasant to look at.

These magnets are strong! They hold my children's artwork (multiple layers of heavy duty construction paper and glue) and various postcards which people have sent to me and I display on the fridge. These are stronger than other magnets purchased at Wal-Mart for $1 each and those Wal-Mart magnets are twice the size as these (and cover a lot of the artwork). All magnets ever received from a Dollar Store or similar store (Dollar General, etc.) have been hard pressed to hold a single sheet of heavy duty construction paper. This product puts all those past magnets to shame. I was so impressed, I purchased more without hesitation.
On the back of these magnet clips is a small and powerful magnet surrounded by a rubber ring. The rubber ring absorbs the impact of the magnet attaching (you can feel the 'pull' around a half inch before the metal surface) allowing the main surface of the magnet to sit and 'snap' flush with the metal surface preventing scratches. I have a white refrigerator with a typical paint factory finish and am not worried in the slightest this product will scratch. I do not have stainless steel products but I would highly doubt this could cause damaged to them.
The clip is strong but not so strong it damages or dents paperwork. The clip is easy to open and close and made of durable plastic which can survive dropping it on the floor multiple times without damage. I do not have to worry about the children (age 3 and age 5) breaking them through normal wear and tear to include a sudden yank off the fridge as the attached artwork is wrestled away.

These little gems hold on! Hold several sheets of paper without sliding down the fridge, sit on the table to hold name tags or hold up recipe cards, I bought them on clearance at a local office store and gave them as gifts. They're that good!
