I am really glad Amazon ships quickly! The gravy bowl was broken when it arrived, but I sent a photo of the broken product and received a new one in time to give it as a gift for my daughter's birthday.
The gravy boat is lovely, goes with my daughter's dishes, and was a great value.

I had to order this item two or three times because it arrived broken the first time or two, but it was worth the frustration. (I didn't even have to return the broken ones; they just replaced them on my say so; problem was the packaging was way too thin to protect the item.) But, using it was such a treat. Any gravy drips went down the side of the bowl and were caught in the little ATTACHED saucer, and I didn't have to worry about the bowl sliding around or engage in a balancing act carrying a loose gravy boat in a separate saucer. (The reason I chose it was because the gravy boat and saucer are attached. My uncles/aunt has had one for years which matches their fine bone china set, which gave me the idea, but I wanted something much simpler and less expensivew and this was it.) The saucer is a bit narrow (as is the bowl), but adequate. Nice ladle too.

Firstly, I love this set. What I don't particularly like about it (and I think amazon should point this out) is that the bowl and dish are one piece. It is nice, strong porcelain that I'm sure will endure for years to come, but I thought "well, what would happen should you drop this? It'll be a shame to lose both the bowl and dish."
So unless I missed it in the product description here it is (again): this is not a 3-piece set; the bowl and dish are one piece.
Despite that, it is a very decent gravy boat.

The Gravyboat was not only a nice piece to add to the dinner table,it matches any setting design and has it's own ladle. Really a good price and good quality. Very pleased with my purchase.

Gravy boat is a little too large for everyday use but great for those really big family dinners. Spoon is too short and can slip into the gravy so I end up using my own small stainless laddle, doesn't look great but works fine.
