5Includes Ceiling Hooks and ExtensionsJan 11, 2012
By JmyA
When I opened the box, I was surprised to find that this rack comes with two ceiling hooks (I assumed it didn't and picked up a couple at Home Depot first- oops). They are basic eye screw type, 4" long with 1-7/8" long threaded region (must be screwed into wood, according to instructions), 1/4" diameter. Also surprising was that it also came with two 4" extension hooks. If you use all the included hooks, you would get 1-7/8" from the ceiling hooks, 4" from the extensions, and 2-3/8" from the rack hanging hooks, for a total of 8-1/4" between ceiling and top of the rack. Rack is 1.5" tall.

Also included were eight pot hooks, two of which are to be used for hanging the rack from the ceiling. They sit loosely in the rack (the rack is hollow and channeled on the inside, so you feed the hooks inside the rack which weighs down on their bases), so theoretically the rack could slide side-to-side if hooks are mounted at less than 32" apart.

The hooks for hanging pots also sit loosely in the rack (hooks weigh down on rack). So you can easily adjust the spacing between pots and pans (slide them side-to-side; not through the center though as there is a screw there), or add more hooks. The hooks have a square base, so they won't rotate unless you push them up/out, rotate, then sit them back into the rack.

I really like the solid construction and design. Before, I was a bit concerned it would be easy to knock it off the ceiling hooks, but now that I've used it I see that as highly unlikely.

5Good quality pot rackDec 18, 2009
By Proud Mom of an Autie
The quality of this pot rack is very good and sturdy considering the price. I've seen other pot racks in this price range that were lightweight and had thin, cheap hooks. I bought 2 additional hooks and I'm able to hang all of my favorite pots and skillets at my fingertips, it's so convenient and frees up a lot of space in my kitchen cabinet.

5It's Exactly What it Looks LikeNov 28, 2008
By P. Gould
I LOVE my pot rack. This is the second one I've purchased, after the first was lost in a move. Having pots hanging around ready to grab is super convenient. The wood is sturdy and the rack is easy to hang. The hooks are satisfyingly bulky.

A few tips: I added an extra s-hook to lower the rack so that I can reach it easily. Also, there is plenty of extra space on the rack, so I ordered 2 extra hooks to hang up my wok and my colander.

If you are looking for a pot rack that looks like this, you won't be disappointed.

4Great productAug 23, 2009

I can find very little to criticize. And the price is right. A way to keep the hooks from moving would be nice. The wood is waxed, and nothing sticks to it.

5Excellent pot rackApr 05, 2012
By a reviewer
The space in my kitchen is such that I need something not longer than 22 inches long, and this was pretty much the only thing I could find that I liked in that size range. It came and it is great, it was easy to hang (though I was lucky to have the ceiling hooks in place from the people who lived here before us). It is clearly solid, quality construction, and I like that it's made by a small company in Vermont - that quality clearly shows, this isn't some made in China junky item.

I'm getting another one of these for the other set of ceiling hooks I've got, and a pair of extra hooks, one for each pot rack. It comes with 4 for hanging pots, but can accommodate a couple more.
