Great idea, poor executionDec 02, 2009

I love these little adjust-a-cups but this one has a huge design flaw. The top(the black part above the silver plunger) is detachable, my only guess is for easy cleaning. It falls off all the time...on accident, if you pull the plunger out to increase your measurement, the plunger falls off inside the cylinder. At first I thought this was a flaw but it looks to be purposely detachable. I strongly recommend buying yourself a similar tool just not this one.

Great measuring cupAug 23, 2009
By Patsy Packer This adjust-a-cup takes away guesswork and is easy to "pop" ingredients out when baking, cooking or ???? Perfect for sticky ingredients like peanut butter, molasses, butter or margarine.

Be careful what liquid you use....Aug 02, 2011
By Tamara I loved the idea of this product. I noticed some smudging of the measurement labels on the first and second use. I made extra effort to keep it clean. While preparing for cooking class I was giving in the evening, I left a residue of oil on the cup. Unfortunately when cleaning up ALL (yes ALL) the measurement lines were gone. I am left with a clear cylinder. Not worth the $$$.

Good product.Mar 11, 2010
By N. Hogue I got all 3 sizes of this on a combo deal. They work great, they are nice and firm so they don't fall out when packing Mayo or what not in there. The only gripe is the top of the big one did come off, but probably due to my extra hot extra soaped dishwasher, it tends to disolve stuff like that. Starbucks cups fall apart often. So no big deal, cleaned it out, dried it out, a ring of Loctite super glue and it's not fallen off yet. I highly recommend buying them, and hand washing once used.

measures well, but not exactly dishwasher safeOct 05, 2010
By W. Barrett I have a bread recipe that I use quite often that calls for two tablespoons of honey. This little cup is great for measuring out that amount of sticky honey for the recipe. So I give it 4 stars. However, the listing says it is dishwasher safe but I'm not so sure about that. The packaging probably warned me against loading it in the bottom rack of the dishwasher, but of course, I no longer have the packaging. The easiest way to put these small plastic items in the dishwasher is to throw them in the silverware rack - which is on the bottom. After several washings, the interior plunger has warped. It still measures correctly but I can't push all the honey out with the plunger. It's really my fault, and if the listing said TOP RACK dishwasher safe, I'd give the darn thing five stars. It works well to measure sticky substances but keep it in the top of your dishwasher.
