My son recommended Kuhn Rikon Swiss Cleaner Paste years ago and I am still using it. I recently ordered three more tubes. It is the only stainless cleaner that really works. It is used on all my stainless appliances, i.e. refrigerator, freezer, oven, micro-wave oven, toaster oven, etc. I highly recommend it. They made (and may still make) a similar cleaner in a tube at a much higher price but this appears to be the same product at half the cost.

I sometimes burn my pans because I accidentally left the pot on stove after boiling water. The protocol is to rub it with a scouring pad and then to wipe it with a paper towel. Then I wash with dish detergent. It helps to wipe with paper towel rather than rinse with water. My pots shine like new.

We have been using this product to keep our stainless pots and pans looking great on the pot rack. During a Christmas Tour of Homes a visitor remarked that the pots and pans look like there never used, but in reality they are over 15 years old and used almost every day.
