What a disappointment! I bought this to organizer flatware in a large drawer. It expands to fit the drawer perfectly, both in length and width. I have it holding everyday flatware, spoons, knives, forks, etc.
After about two months, one side of the expanding components came apart. The bottom came out of its slot and the end came off. I ended up gluing it with some wood glue. The seams in the bottom panesl have also widened as the wood has contracted (I guess).
I would skip this and try another brand if you really want wood, or perhaps just go with metal or plastic. While not as rich looking as wood, they are more durable, and probably easier to clean as well.
Avoid this one!

The organizer is very beautiful. But I ignored the review I read on another of the Lipper organizers that it came broken. Both of the expanding sides was either glued improperly or broke in transport. I didn't want to deal with returning it, so I just can't lift it out of the drawer or else the sides fall off.

One of the expandable sides of this drawer organizer fell apart after only a few months. I was able to glue it back together so it works fine now, but it's not well made for the price they charge. I'd go with a different brand.

The product is beautiful but in less than 2 months the two sides have become unglued. Like other reviewers I have to clean out my drawer and try to glue it back myself.

These were a big disappointment. Sure, they expand sideways to fit nice wide drawers, but the wood is so thick that you can only get a couple spoons in a slot before you run out of space and can't close the drawer. If you have deep drawers, not like the new ones with the fancy slides, you might be okay with this. I was able to use it in my dining room buffet drawer, but it really doesn't hold much at all. It sure looks nice, though.
