I came up with a compromise between the lack of liquid with the mystic mop handle and the expensive pads and cleaner solution of the swiffer wet. Turns out the mystic mop pad is compatible with the velcro on the swiffer wet. You can also pour plain mop water solution into the swiffer wet bottle to refill. I used the handle with the cloud duster so it functions like those commercial dusters custodial staff use to clean LARGE floors.

I too have gone through numerous mops and cleaning pads in an attempt to keep our kitchen floor clean. Even though I hated using the Swiffer cleanser and buying the replacement pads, I continued to do so since that the most convenient option that I found. Thanks to another Amazon reviewer (Heather Choi?), she said that she decided to use these Mystic Maid Replacement pads on her Swiffer mop. Lo and behold, it works beautifully! The Velcro section on the Swiffer mop clings on the MysticMaid replacement pad so you don't have to keep buying expensive disposable cleaning pads for your Swiffer. The BEAUTIFUL thing is that it works SOOOO much better than those flimsy Swiffer pads!! This has more scrubbing power, like others have mentioned, it doesn't distribute dirt in other areas - it actually absorbs the dirt you are trying to clean up into the pad then you just take it off and toss it in the washer to use again. I have 2...one to use, one to wash but I think I'll pick up another one simply for sheer convenience.
I have not yet tried the MysticMaid MOP itself as this review is for the replacement pad but WHEN my Swiffer breaks (and it will as they always snap in the pole area) I'll buy one of the MysticMaid mops and give it a shot then will update my review.
So regardless if you have the MysticMaid mop or not, if you have a Swiffer JetDry Mop, buy one of these pads to try. You'll be glad you did!!
UPDATE: It's now about 1 1/2 Year later and the same initial pads that I bought are still in GREAT shape, still 100% intact (no fraying or anything falling apart), still work incredibly well. I actually have 3 of the pads now. Between a puppy, 2 boys and a husband - all who don't always wipe their feet off or remove their shoes, our floors can get pretty bad so sometimes it takes 2 of these pads to REALLY make my floor white. I plan to add 1 more so that I've always got a 'set' to go when I need it. I simply toss these in the washer and hang to dry and they are good to go! Tip: Be sure to not add laundry softener to your pad when washing it. Just detergent...I actually use 20 Mule Borax & White vinegar (to wash these pads) and it takes care of it. Love, Love, Love them!

Mystic Mops are wonderful! The light weight aluminum handle is very sturdy as well as adjustable for height. Using any other mop makes my back ache, because I have to bend over. The Mystic Mop's long handle enables me to mop without bending -- no more sore back! And I have a longer reach when sweeping. The pads attach with Velcro and are machine washable. They are made of three lengths of fibers, so you can use the mop dry as a broom or dust broom and wet as a mop. It has a swivel head, so you can easily get it into small or awkward spaces. It does such a great job that you don't have to use soap. In addition, if you use a lot of water on the floor and then want to dry the floor, you can simply pull the wet pad off, throw a kitchen towel or rag onto the floor, place the mop onto the rag and dry the floor with it. When you're finished, everything goes into the washing machine. Or if you want to, you can just rinse the pad at the sink, squeeze it out and let it dry on its own. I recently took my Mystic Mop to my mother's house, and my sister-in-law used it. She liked it so much she ordered one for herself, along with an extra pad. I recently ordered two spare pads, so if they quit making this product I'll be able to replace my pads if they wear out. It's a great product!

This is the best mop I have ever used on my floors. It is so easy, and swivels around every nick and cranny. I use it without soap, so there is no residue on my tile and hardwood floors. The clean-up is a snap! Throw it in your washer and hang dry! Buy 2, so you always have one handy.

I was looking for re-usable mops to use instead of buying disposable
mop pads and the solution to go with it. I had already gone through
many mops of all kinds and materials and this mop was the last one
I found and it is the last one I've bought for the passed 3 years.
These mops are totally washable and can be used wet or dry. I use
mine to apply a clean and shine product. I have reordered several
of them so one is always clean for daily, quick moppings. I have
no complaints and I know without a doubt I have saved myself time
and money, you never run out of throw away pads and because they
can be rinsed out you can do a thorough job of mopping without wasting
2 or more throw away pads. This was the mop I was looking for I
am completely happy with it and the MysticCloud dust mop.
