I love popcorn, but hate the extra salt, mystery oils and generally gross additions in the commercial brands.
I used to make my own in a kettle or frypan, which was good, and you could then add seasalt, olive oil butter or whatever.
Ths device makes very good, crispy popcorn in the microwave, and is sooo easy.It's hard to go wrong, and as I said, you can add whatever you like. Sometimes I add parmesean cheese, or a bit of olive oil, sometimes cinnamon and salt and splenda or sugar, what ever!

We used to use an airpopper, but it woke the baby. Microwave popcorn is just gross. This thing is great. Put in 1/2 cup corn, 3 minutes, and wonderful popcorn comes out. No fan sound - no grossness. Yeah!

I originally purchased this microwave popcorn popper for myself. I've since bought two and given them as gifts. The bowl is really easy to use. I can decide if I want to add oil/butter or pop popcorn plain (healthier). In my microwave, it takes the same amount of time as the microwave popcorn you buy in bags. This is much cheaper, as popcorn kernels are less expensive than the prepackaged bags.

This a a great product.It is the only way to make quality popcorn in the microwave.It turns out very well. I put the unpopped kernels from a batch back later for a minute. It does get small scorch marks in the bottom.
