These are a great deal, bake a pie, sort your hardware, pan for gold, feed the chicken, make the UFO picture for the Enquirer. Well made and durable. Buy bunch, to make use of the free shipping, you'll use them.

The pie pan I got is not just stainless, it is very highly polished (to a mirror-like finish) stainless. I have only baked one pie thus far, using a pilsbury pre-made crust, and had no problems whatsoever with the crust sticking to the pan. Cleanup was a breeze. No signs of rusting yet either (yes, I know it's "stainless steel", but these days there is stainless and then there is (not-so)stainless -- I have seen rusting on some of the "stainless" stuff coming from China in the past few years).

I usually bake my pies in glass "tins". When fall comes and I am preserving the harvest from my trees I will make and freeze apple pies. I do not use glass pie dishes for this purpose. I have been using the disposable aluminum tins. They work, but special care is needed to remove them from the oven after baking. Well, hooray for these Stainless Steel Pans. The pans are a nice heavy gauge of stainless steel. They are sturdy and durable with even heat distribution. The pans are well with made no rough edges along the rim. The clean up is easy and there is no breakage due to clumsiness. I intend to buy a few more.

I love these pie pans. First of all, they are so neat looking... all shiny and sparkly. I recently took a couple of pies to work, and although everyone loved the pies, they kept asking me where I got such pretty pie pans. However, most importantly is how the pies baked in the pans, and they were great. The crust was flaky and browned just right. If you are like me and have been putting up with those ugly, old pie pans way too long, treat yourself to some beautiful pans that you will really enjoy using.

I am really pleased with how nice these pans are. I actually ordered them as water bowls for my kitties since cats prefer shallow wide bowls so that their whiskers don't touch the sides and these are absolutely what I was looking for. They are just the right weight to keep from tipping and the cats went to them immediately after I filled them with water because they are so shiny - cats like that too!
I ordered four so two I will keep for baking, but as pet dishes these cost about half of what regular stainless steel pet dishes cost and they are PERFECT for cats and their wide whiskers!!
