Absolutely the BEST Apple Corer!Sep 26, 2011

Absolutely the BEST Apple Corer I've found--I think I read somewhere that it was created by a female chef. With my arthritic hands this one is super-EASY! Note that it may take a strong hit on the counter to get the apple core disloged with the plunger, but other than that it makes a hard task VERY easy for me. This is the BEST apple corer anywhere! Buy it and you'll be very happy with it.

I purchased this corer this year and wished I had gotten one years ago. I used it to core apples for a pie, as well as for baking apples. It's extremely easy to use & a snap to clean. Would definitely recommend it!

This little tool is wonderful. Turned two teenage boys loose with it and had enough cored apples for the millenia! Worked quick and easy....even a teenager could do it.

Bought this to use while canning apple butter, love how this glides right through the apple and then I can just pop out the core! Only thing is you have to hold the sides of the corer as the plunger moves up while you are going through the apple (the silver part in the handle). Wasn't paying attention the first time, but easy enough to move your hands to holding the edges.

This helps me make the perfect apple chips. The prior corers I had used - were often awkward to handle and had scary, sharp blades. This corer has the best design, feels safe and is really easy to use. One of my best kitchen-gadget purchases.
