I don't think I have ever bought anything from OXO that wasn't useful and quality. I bought 2 of these bowls and one 3 quart Oxo Good Grips 3-Quart White Stainless Steel Mixing Bowl . I like that they are not like the model they replaced... which was rubber everywhere on the outside. I understand why Oxo changed to this design. Same rubber silicone No skid bottom (but only on the bottom)... but VERY easy to clean white hard sides and stainless interior. Good combination of materials if you ask me. These are SO easy to clean and use. Also they should last a lifetime.. no more replacing plastic bowls. I look for these traits in everything I buy to use these days in my kitchen. I looked forever for prep bowls and mixing bowls... and most are 2 to 5 times the price of these, and you are simply buying a name. They do not have the unique combination of materials that these bowls have. Great in dishwasher too.

Typically, OXO has great quality. This version (metal instead of plastic) lives up the OXO quality standards. I had the OXO plastic mixing bowl set and it stained.

I do recommend this item. Is exactly as I was expected. I got more OXO bowls in different sizes, and they look really good. Just be careful with the rubber part.
