Nice design, looks good and works well. The ridges let water drain through easily so the mat does not build up gunk like the flat (non-ridged) mats. Another good design from OXO!
Update: Feb 2012.
Had this for about 4.5 years and it still looks and works great. I toss it into the dishwasher every so often (using the air dry cycle), and that gets out any built-up dirt or coffee stains. Still very pleased with it!

No more dish drainer on the counter top! This mat fits perfectly in the smaller bowl of my sink, and the rubber ridges have just enough tack to hold dishes in place while drying.

So far, so good...I like the fact that these mats are constructed to sit up off the sink bottom - the 'feet' do not mar the stainless steel. The built-in handle is very useful. Time will tell if this product rates 5 stars...I believe it has the potential.

This mat is very well made and designed. It has a no-slip top surface and small plastic "feet" on its bottom to allow it sit slightly above the inside sink surface. The "handle" allows for easy placement and removal. Its only "flaw" is that it tends to float when the sink is full of water and otherwise not filled with dishes. Although this is not a major problem, it is somewhat annoying. A suction cup or two on the bottom would have solved this issue.

I bought this mat to keep my new corian sink from getting scratched and frankly it is harder to clean than the sink itself. Within a week it became covered with creeping black mold, and we scrubbed it every day with all kinds of cleaners - we tossed it. Save your $ and buy one that is easier to clean.
