I bought these a couple years ago, because I wanted a decent set of measuring spoons, and because the match my measuring cups. I hate them both! They have become horribly stained, and the measurement is placed on with a sticker that has rubbed off of most of the spoons. I have to guess which is which size, and while it's not that difficult, it's inconvenient. The ring that they are on is flimsy, and while it is easy to remove them, it's a pain. They often fall off, and I've stopped using it all together. I do NOT recommend these.

I don't know what all the negative reviews are about. The measuring spoons are light in weight and a large variety of sizes. I love them.

I had just read a review for these spoons and I disagree with the other review. In my own opinion and from personal use, these spoons are great. I have had these spoons for 4 years now and they are still brand new looking. I have not lost any of the measurements from being rubbed off or anything. My spoons have not stained at all either. I also own the measuring cups as well as a host of other products, including the white measuring bowls with the rubber nonslip grip. None of my products have stained even with the wear and tear. Here is a little bit of advice when using white products that will stain, I clean my mixing bowls and measuring spoons immediately after use to ensure that they will not stain. I also use baking soda to clean the inside of the spoon and the back of the spoon. Yes, it is good to have an extra set of spoons that are metal, they are really good for sauces, preservatives or anything that will in deed stain. Hopefully, this review helps anyone who owns these products. I have been a true fan of OXO for the past 10 years. I have purchased my first set of kitchen utensils for my very first apartment 9 years ago and I still have them and they are in excellent condition. I am always cooking and using these products every time I cook or making a recipe of some sort. To anyone that doesn't want to purchase the white measuring spoons there are black measuring spoons and a combination of metal and black that you can purchase. Good luck!

I really like the spoons, but I don't like the piece that clips them together. It's difficult to open the clip to separate the spoons.
