Excellent for CabinetsJul 10, 2010

I bought this to help with space in some deep cabinets. I purchased it in three sizes, the 9-1/2", the 12" and the 16". All are great. They are non-slip. They have a non-slip surface on the top, but they also have it on the bottom, so they stay where you put them in your cupboard. The movement is very smooth. I put quite a bit of weight (flour, sugar, box mixes) on the 16" and it turns just great. I wish I had bought more when I ordered these, but I will order more. They are hard plastic, so they may be best for inside the cupboard rather than a formal dining table. I recommend these if you are looking for a smooth operating turntable.

I bought these along with the Lipper bamboo turntables. I originally intended to use the bamboo ones in the kitchen since they match the cabinets - and the OXO's in the craft room.
Unfortunately, even though the Lipper's look fantastic, they do not work at all. They are so very poorly made I can't believe they are even being sold because they don't turn well at all - even with nothing on them. With any weight on them at all, they didn't turn at all. Needless to say, they were returned and the OXO's are now in the kitchen.
The OXO turntables are fabulous, though. In my opinion they don't look as nice as the bamboo, but who cares if they work flawlessly! They spin without effort no matter what you have on them (and isn't that what you buy a lazy susan for???). They are certainly well worth getting if you want a dependable lazy susan / turntable. Well made, dependable...and yes they are plastic, which is not my material of choice, but they do look nice and well-made.

The Oxo Good Grips turntable stays in place, never tips or slides, turns easily and whatever's on it stays in place when you turn it around. The wider base prevents interference with surrounding items and/or wall. Looks nice and performs exceptionally well! (Speedy shipping too!) HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

This product is as described and all 5 star reviews were right! My cabinet depth does not allow an 11 or 12 inch turntable (which most are), so this 9.5" is the perfect size. As others say, it is supremely stable and turns very easily. I have spices on mine and only wish there was one with a top shelf that wasn't a "tower"! Very good product, reasonable price and came quickly.

It spins fine and doesn't lose tumble down the spices on the wheel.
Solid to touch, and weighty to spin. I just wish it were more light grey color instead of white. Still it doesn't look too cheap.
I will buy some more from Oxo brand, they are well-made. have confidence purchasing this product. Just make sure your inside the cabinet depth is good to accommodate it.
