Can't grate anything down to the last "nub"Feb 25, 2012
By Aunt Rocky As already mentioned in other reviews, this grater is sharp! It grates easily and in both directions, which makes quick work of a big grating job. Beware, however, that if you (like me) are used to pressing that last nub of cheese or potato right down to the end on your grater, you'll have to think twice about doing that with this one. It's just too sharp. So, pros and cons with using this.
The handle is very short in relation to the grater, and overly thick for a lady's hand. It works OK for me, but it is too short for my husband to get a good grip on. Also, you can't tell from the photo, but the handle is angled down from the grater. I'm not sure why they did that, and I don't really like it.
Over all, it's OK. I like the fact that it has a medium fine grate, which seems to be just about impossible to find in a flat grater. But I'll keep looking for a replacement for my old Ecko medium grater. That was the best grater I ever used, and I had it for over 40 years. Sure hope I find one.
