Beware of what type of wand you have!Jan 03, 2010

I got these as a replacement for my bottle wand, but I wasn't aware that OXO makes two different kinds of wands. Mine is threaded on the end, and these are NOT threaded. They're designed for a different type of wand that snaps in. I'm very disappointed, because like a lot of other people here I had the problem that the blue tip came unglued from my original sponge, but I can't even use these sponges with the wand I have because they're the wrong type. Not worth returning, so I'm basically stuck with useless sponge heads. It is very frustrating that OXO makes two identical-looking bottle brushes but one with threads and the other with a snap-in connector. I wish it had been clearer that these were not designed for the threaded type of wand.

Buy the ones that don't have the scrubbie end - the ones that are solid blue.
I really want to like these with the scouring tips, but the sponge tips always fall off prematurely. I don't know if the glue dissolves or if it is just not high enough quality glue, but before I know it the tip falls off and then it is worthless.

This would be a good product if the blue end didn't separate so easily from the rest of the wand. I bought refills and this product deficiency was also consistent with all of the refills.

Avoid these. The rough sponge is just glued on and comes off quickly. Stick with the solid colored sponges.

I should have read the reviews before ordering. Like others here, we have the screw-top version of the wand and haven't been able to find replacement heads. I ordered these, then realized when they arrived that they are a squeeze tab type that doesn't work with our wand. What a waste of money. I'm returning them for a refund, but even by USPS, it's going to be a couple bucks to return these dumb things.
Don't bother thinking that if you get the other wand, you're all set. The blue part comes off of the heads very quickly, rendering them useless.
