Soap does not dispense on to the scrubber pad, it just runs out the bottom of the device. As good as the scrub brushes OXO makes are, this product was really poorly designed. Stick with the palm brush,

We bought one of these to replace the previous version of OXO scrub brush that we had (and loved, but can no longer find!) and it only last about 1 week before it fell apart. A complete waste of money and a disappointing product from one of our favorite companies.

I was a bit disappointed with this product. Although it dispenses the soap far better than its handle scrubber version, it is not too sturdy. I am not sure if it was due to a defective lot, but when I ordered a replacement scrub head, the plastic retaining portion would break off, leaving me with a separate mesh portion. I tried another one, and another, until I had gone through about five, all resulting in the same failure. The rounded contour made it easy for cleaning pots and pans, but there is not a whole lot of versatility in its use. I found myself constantly looking for a different scrub brush throughout washing one load.

The scrub comes loose very easily (and very often) and snags on even the smallest corners of dishes and silverware. Its smooth scrub doesn't clean very well, especially grease. Cleaning with this scrub versus OXO's other products takes about three times as long.

The mesh doesn't reach all areas of the dish or pan I am trying to clean. The mesh part pops off of the clear soap holder part. I love oxo dish scrubbers but this is a huge fail. Get the brush over the mesh sponge.
