Perfect double jiggerDec 02, 2010
By Sandra Verrier The incremental markings on the inside make it easy to measure the right amount. The rubber around the middle makes it non-slip. You get a really good grip on it to prevent spills. The black/brushed stainless look matches our other bar items (like the Metrokane Rabbit Ice Bucket). Strange thing is, my son loves this thing. I don't know why. He always seems to find it, and the OXO double jigger has taken quite a beating. But the sturdy stainless steel hasn't dented yet. If it's built tough enough for toddler abuse, it should survive any party you can throw at it.

The only jigger you'll ever needOct 22, 2011
By Fred Frencheese This OXO jigger is the only one I could find that has all the measurements I need for making cocktails: One side measures 1/4oz, 1/2oz, 1oz The other has 1/3oz, 3/4oz, 1.5oz
The contruction is solid: nice brushed stainless with two small neat welds between the 2 cups, reinforced by a grippy black silicon band. I have dropped it several times on tiles and not even dingged it.
What makes this jigger the best choice is that instead of marked lines for each measurement, there is an indentation, like smaller cups inside bigger ones: hard to explain without seeing it but basically, even if your near-vision is not great (because you are a well-aged connoisseur or just because you've had that first cocktail!), you will easily be able to dose your ingredients. I own several jiggers, most of them coming from cocktail shaker sets and this one is the only one that gets used now. Highly recommended for your well-stocked bar.
And to finish with a favourite: TAHITI TI-PUNCH 1.5 oz freshly pressed lime juice 1 oz overproof (151) Lemon Hart demerara rum 1 oz Mount Gay Eclipse rum 1.5 oz simple syrup Dash of Angustura bitters Shake well over ice. Strain over more fresh ice in a no-frill glass or a small canning jar. Do you need a garnish? Cheers!

Nice Jigger - a step up in class for meJan 21, 2011

The Jigger has a nice hefty feel to it - feels like quality. The inside is marked for precise measuring. I have to admit I was never one for measuring by anything other than my mood but I like using this Jigger - gives me a sense of control and maybe a bit of class. The Jigger is attractive looking, has a nice weight and is versatile. It has that classic look. I recommend and would happily buy again.

Could not ask for a better jigger -- there is no reason why your great-great-great-grandchildren won't be as happy using it someday as you will be today.

Almost PerfectOct 06, 2011
By P. Kender It has every measurement you will come across mixing drinks, except for 2 oz. and 1 teaspoon. You can get around the 2 oz. part by filling the small side fully twice. The teaspoon measurement you can get around by using 2 barspoons of whatever liquid. It's durable, and the measurements are either "steps" or etched lines on the side, and the markings are etched too so nothing will get rubbed off with heavy use. If I every had children, I suspect one of them will end up inheriting this thing. Cheers mate!
