I've finally found a "back up" to the original I've had for almost 15 years.... I was suprised to find them on the internet.... but very very pleased!
Now I can give them as presents to some of the younger chef's in training I know..... fantastic!

I've been using products similar to this for years. It's easy and sturdy and I'd recommend it to anyone who wants to find a quick and easy way to cut cheese.

I should mention we purchased this item from a different Amazon seller (Chef Gadget), but there was not problem with delivery, etc.
The wire on this slicer came loose while cutting a hard cheese (parmesan) soon after we purchased it.
