OK but mine crackedFeb 15, 2010 It works fine. Slices cleanly, and I like the generously-sized handles. But the plastic cracked after about 3 months. Still usable, but obviously not as nice.
corerFeb 05, 2010 Hi had one before it cracked on me , maybe apples were too hard ?? so did purchase another so will see what happens , this one has rubber handles but I am sure that does not help with cutting thu the apple .

Fruit corer, slicer.Jan 12, 2010 Love this little tool! I've seen other versions of this, but this particular one has nice grips that allow you to comfortably push through even the biggest, toughest apples. It is very sharp, and should be handled carefully.

Potato chip killerJan 11, 2010 I got this for six bucks at my local grocery store and it has done wonders at my house. My three children have completely stopped eating chips and junk. All they want now is apple wedges! It's great.
The blades are plenty sharp and it feels durable.
A little tip: Cut a thin slice off the bottom of the apple to make a flat spot before coring. This will keep the slices from staying together at the bottom.

Use it every dayDec 24, 2009 This is a quality apple corer/slicer. We've had ours for quite some time and it's still good. It's strong and I think it's really gonna last. Worth buying!
