An essential kitchen gadgetAug 19, 2010 No kitchen should be without this. Makes cutting up apples a breeze and if you want the apple pealed it's so much easier to do after slicing.
OXO Fail.Aug 18, 2010 I love OXO. I thought they could do no wrong. But this apple corer/divider was a waste of money. We had an old stainless steel one without the handles, so I thought this one would work better. It does not work any better at all! The apple gets stuck in it, and it's a pain to clean.
An appel a day...Apr 17, 2010 I love this product. Making a fruit salad with apples is now an order of magnitude easier. I use this device everyday.
Producing a few apple slices for a snack takes only 30 seconds. And I like fresh apple slices from organic apples over the apple slices you can buy in little bags. The slices in bags are treated with some gas so that the apples don't turn brown. And they are more expensive.
This version is especially good because of the rubber grips. As a woman it takes a bit of strength to slice an apple in one go. Good grip is key.
I highly recommend this product. And I give it to friends just for fun occasionally.
Does exactly what its suppose toMar 20, 2010 I wasn't too sure about this product, but figured I'd give it chance since there were so many positive reviews. I'm glad I did! It works exactly as its suppose to; It removes the apple core and divides the rest into pieces. It looks flimsy, but is actually quite durable.

Apple slicerMar 20, 2010 Produce worked fairly well, but it never quite cut through the complete apple, so there was always apple skin to disconnect. Also it needed to be pressed slowly through the fruit or the juice would fly!
