5A terrific product!Sep 18, 2005
By S. Harrison
I have used an Oxo dish wand for several years now. The sponge is extremely durable, and the shape perfect for washing all kinds of kitchenware, not just glasses. This tool is perfect for quickly washing out bowls, pans, baking dishes - everything. Even though it looks a little funny, this beats the heck out of any other kind of sponge-tip scrubber that I have ever tried.

5BEST dish wand I've ever owned!!!Jun 20, 2006
By M.D. Edwards "Avid Aesthete"
I lucked out and found one of these at a local dollar store, and I now wish I'd bought more than one, as I'd been considering... This is the best damned dish wand I've ever used! It's sturdy and durable, and worth the price I paid, many times over!

I did find, after a few weeks of regular, rigorous use, that the glue holding the sponge on to the screw-on base got overly moist and allowed the sponge to separate from the plastic to which it was adhered. I ended up using hot glue to reattach it, but am thinking of using crazy glue gel or epoxy to get it to properly adhere if it comes unstuck again. I will NOT, however, be giving this one up to toss it in the trash, as I can't seem to find this in my local area stores. Amazon.com comes through for me yet again, with the refills and wands themselves available on the site! I can't get enough of this website and its fabulous selections, even if I have to occasionally endure an error or five to get the things I've ordered...

Once you've tried this dish wand, I promise, you'll never go back to any other brand's version of this!

* UPDATE:

Since I found the refills for this, and the actual wand, on Amazon, I've bought the refills, AND the suction cup mount that goes with this dish wand. It looks like the suction cup mount solves the problem of the adhesive getting too wet to keep the sponge attached. It may cost you an extra four or five bucks for the mount, but if you're going to buy one of these, get the suction cup mount to go with it! It makes ALL the difference!

3Great if you can handle a few broken glasses!Jun 24, 2006
By coleyh8
I was amazed at how easy it was to clean glasses with this dish wand! But it wasn't too long before I broke the 1st glass. The plastic on the wand is hard, and if it taps against the glass just right while you're cleaning it, the glass breaks (and I mean just barely taps). I've gone through about 4 glasses. So you have to be careful. But it is definitely an imrovement over shoving my hand into the glass with a sponge to clean the bottom. It would be a much better product if they softened the plastic on the wand. Also, after a few months, the scrubber part came unglued from the rest of the sponge. But I guess that's what the replacements are for....

4CLEAN BUT SKIMPYMar 14, 2007
By Terry Hawkins "TGHAWK"
I love this wand. Cleans well and gets into everything.

The biggest criticism is that the reservoir doesn't hold very much detergent. Seems that we're refilling this thing about 2-3 times a week.

Hasn't stopped us from using it.

The replacement heads are another matter- please see my review on them....

When you buy OXO you generally know you're getting a decent product. This is no exception. It's a well done, quality feeling dish brush that works great for cleaning glasses, water bottle, things like that.
