 Best dish scrub I've foundAug 13, 2007

Over the years I've tried numerous detergent dispensing dish scrubbers (including another OXO scrubber), and this is by far the best of the bunch. I find the short handle makes it easier to use and store than the usual longer-handled dish scrubbers. (I leave it resting on its pad on an old, small plate next to the sink.) So far (4 months) I've had almost zero detergent leakage, which is a first in my experience. The only downside I've found is that the pad is a bit too large to fit inside some smaller glassware, a problem easily remedied by keeping a small bottle brush near at hand.

... because it cleans much better than my husband does.
Don't buy the same thing with the scrub brush on the end. You can't use the same amount of pressure to get crud off without flattening out the bristles.
Don't buy the same thing with the plastic pouf on the end. It doesn't get into nooks and crannies and somehow misses wide swaths of gunk.
Just buy this one, and know that you can use it on nonstick pans, you can use hard pressure to get it to work harder, and you can squish it into all sorts of tight corners. Just buy this one. And then put it on a belt clip and take it with you everywhere and maybe knit it a kicky little cozy to keep it warm while you're busy dirtying another pan.
And be careful when you're changing out the sponge for a refill, because by not being careful but instead being like Lennie from Of Mice & Men, I killed mine, and I've been too cheap/lazy to get a new one and writing this review only serves as a painful reminder of my sloth and regret.

I love this product and have used it for years. It is handy because of the self contained soap dispenser and mildly abrasive scrubbing pad. I always keep a backup of refill pads.

Have owned this item since March 2 - and a bit over 2-months later the plastic "ears" that keep the body attached to the pad broke - now it is useless as the pad will not stay on the body. Until it self-destructed it actually worked pretty well.

OXO has great products. They sent me the wrong one when I ordered this one and than Amazon sends me a picture of the item I actually ordered and asked how I liked it. I would have liked it, if I had not been sent the wrong item! The product gets 5 stars based upon my previous purchases of it. Wish I had the one I ordered so I had not run out of them!
