I was putting together a "movie and pizza night at home" gift package and decided to purchase this plate set as part of that. When the plate set arrived it was even cuter than I expected, coming packaged in it's own little pizza box. Very cute. Honestly, I'd prefer them to be made of a better material, but that is minor and doesn't really take away from the cute factor of the product. In fact, now that I've said that, maybe the hard plastic material is a good idea if you plan on buying these for kids to use. Now I'm thinking I need to buy these plates for my own kids to enjoy on pizza night.

The design is cute. We purchased it for our 8 years old daughter as Christmas gift. It was on her wish list. She thought Santa brought it to her...She loves it.

My sister-in-law wanted pizza pans for Christmas. Well, I decided that such a practical gift needed some fun added to it. I found these plates and knew that they would be a perfect addition.
The plates are identical to a delicious large slice of pizza. They curve slightly along the edges, to make sure the food (pizza, I am assuming;)won't slide off. Made of melanmine, the plates are almost indestructible~ perfect for a family with little kids. The plates are dishwasher safe (top rack, I am sure), but can not be used in the microwave oven. When placed together, they form an actual pizza, and the image is mouth-wateringly realistic.
I think my favorite aspect of this, as the gift-giver, is the presentation box. It looks just like a real pizza delivery box. All that is missing are grease stains and an aroma. It is of thick, sturdy cardboard, so it can be used for storage. The plates stack singly inside, not in a pizza pie formation. When my s-i-l unwrapped it, she looked perplexed. As soon as she opened the lid, her face melted into a big smile. She told me that she used these plates (and the accompanying pizza pans) the very next day for her kiddos.
Perfect gift to anyone who loves pizza~ whether it's eating or making it. I want a set for my family now!

They look just as I expected. Sometimes it's hard to tell by a picutre. I bought the plates as a gift for my daughter's family who like to make homemade pizza. I have know doubt they'll enjoy using them.
