Bad, bad, bad!Feb 05, 2010
By Eugene P. Howrey This is a worthless product. The wire broke while attempting the first slice. A replacement wire broke during replacement. Do *not* buy this product. I rate this product zero stars, but the program won't accept that.

A poor productDec 04, 2005
By Dean G. Smernoff The adjustments come loose after every slice and the wire breaks frequently at the brass insert. This is a poorly engineered product. Don't buy it.

Good Bad - Good grief!Oct 07, 2006
By PhreD Yes, the damn thing comes out of adjustment all the time, but it slices soft cheeses in damn near perfect slices. And the company is great about mailing replacement screws and wires if there is loss or breakage.
Why not buy something that does something well, other things not so good, but the manufacturer has gracious people who answer the phone and who apparently even pay taxes in this country?
It is a real 1960s experience and I'm pleased to support their efforts. AND it is the best hand-held cheese slicer I've ever owned. Life is good!
