Not so World Class Pizza CutterNov 02, 2007
By Greg Barnett My wife and I have had pizza night every Tuesday for years and have always tried to improve our experience from different ingredients, temperatures, stones, pizza cutters etc.
My wife always wanted a great Pizza cutter and I had been on the prowl, reading reviews and finally came upon this one here at Amazon. WE finally got it last Monday and tried it out Tuesday night. The size and price seemed right, just too flimsy. I'm going to have to buckle down and spend the extra money on the other alternative I saw here at Amazon today so I can have it for next week.

AwesomeMay 14, 2009
By Stephanie I bought one over two years ago and have used it every day at work ever since.
It's pretty darn durable and has held up to commercial use. Just recently the corner bent but I suspect someone was using to pry open something stupid. It's been dropped multiple times, thrown around tables, in sinks and we've used them for sword fights - not a chip anywhere.
I do wish this was 1-2 inches longer and a slightly thinner blade. Every so often we take it to a sharpening stone to try and thin it out, but I'm not sure it does anything.
Overall, I'm very impressed at how well this thing has held up and totally worth the $9 I spent.

Arrives dull but...Sep 28, 2010
By el_llave once I got it sharp, it does the job, Right Now.
I thought it'd be a little hard to control...the handle is off to one side, if you'll notice...and I assumed it'd want to tilt over because the pressure wouldn't be straight down the blade, so to speak. But it doesn't. It cuts very well and is easily controlled. It has cut with one rocker motion every pizza I've used it on...after I sharpened it. It was Really dull.
Finally, you need to think about where you are going to stow it. It pretty well fills up a drawer and there's no way to hang it anywhere. Hanging it up's probably not a good idea anyway because that's a long cutting edge hanging hanging out there just waiting to slice skin...once you get it sharp. Did I mention that it arrives dull?
Bottom line? I like it and wouldn't go back to a roller cutter even though it's not immediately obvious how to stow it in the kitchen. But mine arrived dull and I had to sharpen it before it did the job the way I wanted it to.

Not just for pizzaNov 23, 2010
By Markw I bought 2 different pizza cutters not for pizza though. I actually use them to cut bars of homemade soap. They are sharp and get the job done.

Have to Push Hard to Cut Through PizzaJun 29, 2011
By treasure1011 I was a little disappointed at how much pressure you have to put on this cutter to make it cut all the way through the pizza. If you apply normal pressure, it will not cut through the crust all the way and you end up with a mess. It is also a little shorter than desired.....have to reposition to cut all the way across a large pizza.
