Compact and works wellNov 01, 2009
By Peter S. Young Easy, sensible controls for four separate timers. Stays in timer mode and does not jump to clock mode unless you press the clock button. Free standing and magnetic. Very large and legible digits despite a small form factor. Each timer has a distinct beep, and they are loud enough room to room in my house. Each timer has a recall function to repeat its last setting. The controls along the edges just make sense - though they are very easy to press accidentally when you pick the timer up to set it.
The beep ends in a reasonable time if you cannot cancel it, and the timer enters count up mode to tell you how long ago the beep sounded. If you are using more than one timer, additional symbols on the display keep you oriented.
Only drawback: Does not have a keypad to enter times directly, BUT: if you press and HOLD the minute key, for example, the minute count up enters high-speed mode right away.

Excellent Kitchen/General Purpose Multi-TimerNov 18, 2009
By William S. Grigsby
"Ycat"
Thus far, this is the best timer we've ever found.
Bought as a replacement for a dying West Bend single timer unit (several years old), I was surprised to find a multi-timer at such a low price (and with Amazon Prime). This 4 timer (plus clock) unit has a very legible display, nice portable size, magnetic/clip back, and easy to use controls (though their placement around the outside of the unit can lead to accidental pressing). We found the alarm sufficiently loud to hear in our bedroom - 3 rooms (3 walls and a fireplace) away from the kitchen. The count up after alarm has already come in handy a couple of times too.
It is powered by two button batteries (included) which is a slightly negative feature, but not a deal breaker (I'd prefer a single AAA - as we tend to have those on hand).
Overall, I'm quite happy with this timer and am buying another for our hobby room.

Perfect timer for busy cooksDec 17, 2008
By Calamity Jane I just got this timer a few days ago and already LOVE it. It is loaded with useful features and was exactly what I was looking for. In addition to having four timers, it also has a clock. You can set the timers to the second (hours, minutes, seconds, each set separately), without it making a beep for every time increment if you hold the button down (I hated the beep-beep-beep of my other timers). And it counts up from zero once the timer goes off to show you how long ago it went off (in case you don't hear it right away). If you have more than one timer going, the readout flashes T1, T2, T3 or T4 if other timers are also counting down.
It has a magnet on the back and we popped it right onto the front of the stove. I am left-handed and it is extremely easy to set without my having to take it off the stove. It is loud enough for my needs, but as with any timer, if you're going to be in a completely different room or have the tv or music on loud enough, bring it with you to be sure you hear it. I can't complain about any aspect of it...it's the perfect timer!

Easy to use digital clock & 4 count up/down timers [each independent]Dec 08, 2009
By sugob This has 4 easy to access timers [press the 4 grey buttons along the top marked T1-T4] - the currently displayed timer is displayed at top of screen [T1-T4 surpringly enough ;-)]. Each timer is independent and can count down [when it reaches 0, it beeps for a minute (and display flashes the corresponding T1 etc) and timer continues counting down so you can see how far past the timer you are] or just to count up [when cooking something that is done in stages, I use T4 to count up the total elapsed time and use the others as countdown timers for each of the stages involved] The top left blue button shows the clock, bottom left blue to clear timer and large bottom grey button to stop/restart [from the stop point] timer. Clicking stop, clear then stop again will reset the timer back to it's initial value. Can count up/down to 1 sec short of 100 hours, the times shown are large/clear and the battery lasts for yonks Also has a clip on back [works like a belt clip] that is also magnetic [strong enough to stick to most metal surfaces but if press buttons the fulcrum effect may knock it off] and has survived a few accidental drops!
Downsides - when adding times [holding button down advances quickly], can only add [not subtract] one hour/minute/second [three grey buttons on left] so if add too many, then have to clear and re-enter. Also, if 2 timers go off at the same time, the beeps can be confusing [all make the same beep pattern]
Used one of these for a few years and decided to get some more as gifts...enough said?! ;-)

Handy timer for the homeAug 16, 2009
By Robert A. Koenig This timer has four individual timers and can be carried in your pocket. I have used this product for several years for various baking tasks, including spraying bread during baking. I only bought a new one when I managed to drop the previous one in a pan in which I was poaching eggs.
It is inexpensive, versatile and far better than any other timer I have been seen.
