"Cooking nut"
On a visit to Mpls. last yr. I purchased one of these to keep in our RV. After using a couple times I was so impressed I went back & bought 8 more & gave them as gifts along the way. I'm still using mine well over a year later & it is still sharp. Great for vegetables.

These Silvermark Santoku Knives are great all-purpose kitchen knives. The high-carbon stainless steel blade helps keep food from sticking to the blade. The contoured handle is perfect for good control while cutting and dicing. The extra benefit to these knives is the protective sheath that keeps fingers and blades safe during storage. The knives come in several vibrant colors and are competitively priced. A great value within the sea of knives on the market.

This knife is useless. Right out of the case it cuts like what I would consider a dull knife, meat and vegetables stick to the coating on the blade.

"Just Me"
The blade cover makes it great for traveling! Overall good price, very sharp, though it's starting to dull a little now. However, that might be due to the cutting board I have.
