5Highly RecommendedApr 19, 2008

Wonderful tea kettle made in England. I've had this kettle for over 9 months and use it every day. It holds up very well and is easy to clean. The whistle is not too loud or annoying but can be heard throughout the house when the water is ready. I would purchase again.

4Great kettle but the handle gets bubbly underneathNov 11, 2009
By Pam in Boston
I love my kettle. It is elegant and well crafted. But the handle now has bubbles on the underside directly above the lid. For a tea kettle over $100, I'd expect a more resilient handle

5British is best!Jan 08, 2008
By Myra "Anglophile"
I previously purchased a visually identical kettle manufactured in Korea by Old Dutch. It was inferior quality stainless steel & after several years of use began to leak where the spout was sautered onto the body of the kettle. This kettle is worth the difference in price. As a dedicated Anglophile I can say British really is best.

5Love it!Jan 07, 2009
By Petit Oiseau "farmer's wife"
Beautiful tea kettle--heats quickly, cleans easily, and has a wonderful whistle. They recommend you don't fill it past the seam, so it doesn't have as great a capacity as it appears, but does the job for a pot of tea or most recipes that call for boiling water. At the price, I felt this was kind of a splurge, but this is, hopefully, the last tea kettle I buy!

5Great product! High Quality!!!Oct 11, 2009
By Lucinda Ann
Few things in life are perfect, this teapot is one of them. A whistle that 'announces' but never 'demands', a lid that fits with a satisfying 'clunk' and a great finish that looks as it did when opened 10 months ago. Give this as a gift and you'll be remembered years from now,
