I am disapointed. My son found it fun to pace himself while brushing his teeth. But it get's stuck all the time.

I use this timer with my two and three year olds for turn taking and time outs. I think it is a good visual tool to develop a sense of time. It is very cute, too.

Makes for the perfect 3-minute egg! Takes me back to "back in the day" seeing that little hourglass with the golden sand. Nice product, again with that cute EGGY style.

I wish the eggy was in a five minute timer. Still, it works nicely when I am timing yeast fermintation. I just pour my yeast in the cup of water and then turn the egg up-side-down. I don't have to set a timer...digital or dial. So that is pretty cool...turn and go on to my next measurements. The kids like to watch the sand go and are pretty quick to let me know when my time is up. It is pretty cute too.

I have owned this product for a while now. It is adorable enough to leave sit on my counter all the time. The only issues I have had with it is my own human errors in timing my eggs. So the product can hardly be blamed for my errors.
