This is a nice, affordable way to keep wines/champagne cold, particularly in hot weathers. To be noted is that THE WINE NEEDS TO BE CHILLED AND THE SLEEVE NEEDS TO BE FROZEN BEFORE USE or else the results will not be satisfactory. I bought the wine sleeve first, and was so satisfied that I went back for the champagne one. It also makes an excellent gift.

I purchased this for a gift for my in-laws along with the matching wine chillers. On our visit with them my father-in-law placed the champagne chiller in the freezer overnight and the next morning put it on a bottle of unopened, warm champagne. I had read some of the reviews on the wine chillers so I passed on that the champagne needed to sit with the chiller for 15 minutes, not just the few minutes the directions suggested, to be effective. After 15 minutes my father-in-law opened the champagne and served it and was very happy with how cold it was in such a short amount of time. I had thought about purchasing them one of those single bottle chiller machines that sit on the counter, but this turned out to be a much better choice since it doesn't take up counter space and it works just as effectively or more so (some bad reviews on those things) and you can leave it on the bottle to keep it cold. I think if you know what to expect and you follow the suggestions in the other reviews to leave on for at least 15 minutes, you'll be happy with this product and it basically works as intended.

Product does not fit big/jumbo champagne bottles, but it does fit normal champagne bottles. It does a good job of maintain a cool temperature on wine bottles and champagne

Not a bad little unit and fits a Champagne Bottle (Spumante) which in general are different shape than a wine bottle. Mind you it's just a cover and it is not going to "chill" your bottle or even really keep it cold but it will prolong the chill shall we say. It is NOT like your bottle is sitting in ice, just kind of cool, cute picture.
