This Peppermill is wonderful. Easy to fill. Easy to adjust the grind. Don't make the mistake I did of washing it and expecting to use it immediately. Moisture in the grinder or grinder mechanism caused the pepper to stick in the grinding/crushing mechanism and prevented it from grinding. After the internal mechanism dried, the grinder worked beautifully. How to adjust the grind was not included in the instructions so I contacted the manufacturer's customer service via email. Their response was quick, accurate, and professional. The tightness of the knob over the grinding controls the fineness of the grind.
