This was purchased as I continue to build a better quality knife set. This knife does not disappoint. I love the ergos of the handle, and the weight seems really nice. And it is plenty sharp, I have used it for splitting chicken breasts and pork chops for stuffing and it works great. Love it!

Outstanding balance and feel to this knife. I use it to find and separate the joints of the legs and wings when carving Turkey and chickens. It does a great job and is indicative of the quality of Wusthof knives. Highly recommended.

By M. J. Primus I am very happy with the quality of this knife. I just started culinary school and this brand was recommended by several of the chefs for those that could afford them. I am glad that I made this investment in a tool that I use often.
