Super Sharp!Nov 02, 2008
By V. Williams I purchased this cleaver to complete my set of Wusthof knives. I was impressed by how sharp this thing is. I had so much fun chopping up a frozen chicken I felt a bit like the Swedish Chef from the Muppets!

Don't Cut Your Finger OffDec 31, 2011

This was a gift for my son that has a professional kitchen in his house so needs, he thinks, professional cooking tools. This is an expensive toy but seems quite appropriate for a 40+ year old man and father of my grandchildren so I was happy to make him happy. The length of the blade seemed short to me but it works perfectly for chopping, even through chicken bones. I have no idea, because my son won't let me play with his toys, know how the cleaver does in chopping down trees.

is this the best cleaver?Dec 08, 2005

I made a big decision to invest this expensive cleaver, but very dispointed after first use. It is not sharp, it is difficult to cut through meat and bones. Maybe it is the cleaver for professionals because they know how to sharpen and hone it on daily basis.
