Someone probably got jabbed one too many times and came up with these!Aug 08, 2010
By kissmyfranny I have four sets of these and love them. I love how they interlock for storage, so you don't get poked. I have both the opaque and the translucent colors. I prefer the translucent. They are also larger than regular corn cob holders for a better grip.
One review mentioned the tines not being long enough and they keep falling out of the corn cob. I haven't had that problem.

Excellent Corn Holders!Jul 25, 2010

These are so much better than the cheap plastic corncob shaped holders the grocery store sells. They are generously sized, offering a good grip. The tines are fatter and made of stainless steel so they won't rust in the dishwasher. The hilt makes it easy to get them poked into the corn cobs. The self storage feature keeps them from poking you when stored in the drawer. Great design made with top quality materials. They look good too.

Can corn holders be awesome? Yep, they can.May 12, 2011
By Double Dizzle fo Shizzle Outstanding holders these are. They are large, super sturdy, fairly sharp, and more importantly, very easy to use, to clean, to store and to hold. The large handles make it a snap for those with either small hands or tree-trunk like fingers to grab onto and enjoy some corn. The typical tiny "corn shaped" holders I've grown up with are flimsy, too small, become brittle and break. These have shown zero wear after using for some time, dishwashing everytime. For a corn holder, they are a terrific update to an old design. Good luck-

The tines are not long enoughAug 08, 2010

I really wanted to like these corn holders. They look cool and interlock so you don't stick your finger when you pick them up. The problem is the tines don't hold onto the corn very well at all. I've tried them on a bunch of ears this summer and they keep coming loose. Sigh.
The best ever!Oct 10, 2011
By Blessed Grandma I have tried many different corn cob holders in the past and these are the best! Others have spikes that were not strong enough to stick securely into the cob without bending or breaking. These are sturdy and easy to hold onto. It makes eating Iowa sweet corn on the cob even more enjoyable!
