Like us, many have probably used the standard (similar in design but no comparison in construction) mashers. This one is as solid feeling as they can be built. No rust. No places for water to enter between the handle and mashing wire. Solid... If you want a real masher this is the one to get.

This is a very well-made potato master and the zig-zag design seems to do a better job than the mashers that have round holes. Very good product.

This Masher is great. Rounded to work in most dishes. Good feel to the handle. I bought this masher to replace another that wasn't working out. Food can't really get caught like it does with other masher.
A must for the kitchen!!!!!!!!

This potato masher feels good in my hand. The handle is ergonomic and allows for a good grip without hurting the palm of my hand like mashers I have used in the past. I like the round shape which allows for the masher to work in bowls much better than square shaped mashers.
Finally, I have to praise Amazon for their wonderful customer service. My package was delivered by USPS to the wrong address and when I contacted Amazon customer support they immediately shipped out a new masher and, at no charge to me, upgraded shipping to UPS second day delivery. This simply exceeded my expectations!

TRULY a smashing implement that does what it should, easily and washes up in a sink or dishwasher. SOLIDLY built, so works even on refried beans that can get gummed up.
