A clever design stops you from overfilling, and I've made liter after liter of soda water (as much as one a day) with it for months.
The only problem is that the carbonation isn't as stiff as buying bottled soda water, and the CO2 cartridges are fairly expensive.
Still, it's more fun to make water than buy the bottles, so it continues as part of my household.

For drinks I was making, bottled seltzer would lose too much fizz before I finished half a bottle--even with using a bottle repressurizer.
This is perfect. From beginning to end, it is as fresh as a freshly opened store bought bottle. My mojitos are now pefect.
Make sure you use cold water when first filling.

I bought this and it works fine. But, it is not as fizzy as I'd like. There is an alternative that lets you control the fizziness and is cheaper per bottle. The Soda Club seltzer maker more than makes up for its higher cost by being cheaper per bottle (30 cents v 80 cents for this one). If you drink more than one bottle a day as we do, that pays for itself pretty quickly.
Both are better, cheaper and more convenient than store-bought. Also, more fun. So I encourage you to buy one or the other if you drink a lot of seltzer.

Beautiful , functional, and easy to use. Makes about 6 drinks per cartridge. We now make homemade sodas with fresh squeezed juice- less sugar, more flavor! Don't forget to order cartridges at the same time to save on shipping, the bottle only comes with one.

I was trying to move away from diet cola's and this Soda Siphons has. Its fun and allows me to drink fizzy water. I wish I could do 2 liters at a time but the 1 qt is fine.
